Flume at Lollapalooza Chile 2017: the experience
The place was "Parque O'Higgins", the occasion: "Lollapalooza Chile 2017", the artist: Flume.
It was around 9:00 PM when the concert began at the "Acer Stage", there was a big black curtain on the stage and a soft live version of Flume's "Helix" started, everyone was hyped at it's maximum, we knew what was going to happen. At the climax of the song the giant curtain drops and there he is, Flume itself, the show was incredible, 75 minutes of live versions, mashups and an incredible amount of energy.
But who is Flume? you may ask. He is an electronic music producer and performer. He is only 27 years old but he already is a legend of electronic music. He has at the moment 3 studio albums, in 2017 he was touring with his second album "Skin" and the tour was an audiovisual experience, you could see the amazing visuals, the luminous stage and Flume itself playing a lot of synthesizers and MIDI controllers.
As I described it, the atmosphere was wonderful, the show that Flume decided to put just took everyone to a higher place. At the end of the concert my jaw was on the ground and my mind in the sky. The rest of the event was incredible too, but Flume was the icing on the cake. Do you like Flume? Did you were there?
